‘Hire Al’ for your special event! (that’s me)!

Whether you’re planning a soiree at your home, the music of your ‘Special Day’ or a corporate bash in a stately ballroom, you are welcome to contact me directly to discuss the musical needs of your event. As well as corporate events, I have performed for orgs such as the American Heart Ball, Make A Wish and Great Circle. Some regional events have included Music Fests, as well as events at the Chase Hotel’s Starlight & Khorassan Ballrooms, St. Louis Country Club, The Fox Theater and Shaw’s Garden’s ‘Wine In The Garden’ – My trio recently performed at Illinois’ S.I.U. Edwardsville for a college fundraiser. I have sung with the Boston Pops and at some of St. Louis’ top bistros and steakhouses including Ruth’s Chris, as well as playing years in The Ritz Carlton St. Louis’ Lobby Lounge.

And I love playing and sharing my music. To me, music is that positive charge that goes through to the guests… So, whether I’m creating a welcome mood on solo piano, or with a full band (or even on drums with the eclectic ‘Silverphreek’ trio), you know that my performance will help lift your event (or venue) to the inspired level you seek. Use the CONTACT page on this site or message TapGuy@ gmail. com – About the video on this page; Though I am a solo pianist, this showcases Straight Up- A Shot Of Sinatra a concert at The Sheldon Concert Hall in St. Louis. Thank you!  -Alan

Alien In My Soup!

There’s An Alien In My Soup is a musical stage play based upon authentic video interviews published on the web. I portray the military & civilian men who describe extraordinary encounters with UFOs, alien visitors and the resistance of our own government to the open discussion of these encounters. I wrote this musical stage play to recount the courage of these ordinary men and to recount what they have seen… This play is a walk along the precipice of the unknown… an entertaining look at the most confounding question of our time…. What’s up with alien life? See more at the website dedicated to the play, This play is presently booking theatrical dates the world over!

Hammer Time

My collaboration with longtime bud Al Hammerman goes back to when we were kiddos. Now years later the friendship has been rekindled through music. Al’s talent for writing good tunes has brought together musicians and engineers with Hollywood and paid off in great songs now recorded on more than five albums. What’s cool too is that the dozen or so songs I’ve recorded in those projects may now be stumbled upon in the sound tracks of various movies and TV shows- just some of which are seen here. This guy is good! Check out a couple of sample sounds on this site in the MP3 Section and check out Al’s site too . Also, here’s the Giorgio Armani ‘Made To Measure‘ video!
